John Sylvan, the co-founder of Keurig and inventor of its revolutionary single-serve brewer, had a bone to pick. He had one cup of stale office coffee that has been sitting in a pot for hours too many. Sylvan was convinced that there was a better way of drinking coffee in an office environment. So, he quit his job and set out to create a machine that will turn his single-brew concept into reality. The huge demand for coffee has spurred manufacturers all over the country to create various flavors we have these days. We have now reached a point that there are so many choices that it is hard to decide which of those K cups to try.

If you are new to Keurig, probably your best choice would be this. Another excellent K cup from Green Mountain, the parent company of Keurig. Caramel, vanilla, and brown sugar, all mixed in with excellent coffee, are bound to produce some amazing results. It is just like sundaes, except you don’t have to feel guilty about having it. Unlike sundaes, these Caramel Vanilla Cream K-Cup won’t demand that you run to the gym to work off those extra calories. While it may not be a suitable morning coffee, it is perfect for the afternoon, once you are settled down and ready for some me-time.

Made from medium roast Arabica beans, these pods are made according to the original Dunkin’ Donuts recipe, guaranteeing the same flavor and aroma you would get in any of their shops, but in the comfort of your own home. It is perfect for any Dunkin’ Donuts fans, and they would make an excellent gift for your friends who enjoy their coffee.

Tully’s Coffee is trendy among K cup users, and their Breakfast Blend is their best-seller. It is made from 100% Arabica coffee beans. Light roast preserves its mild and mellow taste, with citrusy notes, ideal for those lazy mornings when you want to stay inside with a good book and a cup of joe beside you. Its rich taste doesn’t come with any bitterness or overwhelming flavor. These K cups are compatible with almost all Keurig machines, except Keurig Vue Coffee System.

- The k cup design requires that I have to run the k cup twice for each cup of coffee. It’s size seems to be a bit larger than all of our other brands and affects the brewing process.
